To resolve your family law conflict, you might consider the following options:

  • Mediation
  • Collaborative Law
  • Litigation

Mediation allows both parties to resolve their own disputes without court proceedings. As a mediator, Ms. Wong serves in a neutral capacity to help guide the parties to resolve their conflicts with minimal acrimony. If the parties are participating in mediation with another mediator, Ms. Wong can serve as a consulting attorney for one party.

In the Collaborative Law process, each party is represented by his or her attorney. The clients and attorneys work together to reach settlement of the disputed issues and sign a contract agreeing not to go to court.

Litigation is going to court to let the judge decide the disputed issues. The parties and their attorneys will appear before a judge who will decide the parenting schedule, property division, child and spousal support and who will pay attorney’s fees. Ms. Wong has litigated many cases over 24 years with successful outcomes.
